Coldplay forced to postpone Sunday's Tampa, FL show due to medical reasons

coldplay2008a.jpgColdplay have been forced to postpone the final US show of the Viva La Vida tour at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa tomorrow night. Reviews from Coldplayers arriving back from last night's show at Charlotte's Verizon Wireless Ampitheater noticed that Chris Martin sounded sick and didn't take part in as much crowd interaction that he has done at preceding shows. The news on the postponement broke earlier on Coldplay.com:

We're sorry to report that Coldplay have been forced to postpone their show at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa on Sunday, August 9th. This is due to medical reasons. The show is currently being rescheduled - we'll give you the new details as soon as we have them. In the meantime, the band have asked us to apologise on their behalf for the inconvenience this causes. Anchorman

You can discuss this breaking news here onwards at the Tampa thread in the Coldplay Live forum [thanks Jizo]

UPDATE: Babelgum UK called our Coldplayer 'MartinFan', the winner of the recent Tampa tickets competition to say that it was Chris Martin who was ill.
