will_coldplay06012005.jpgColdplay are to appear live on UK radio today and will make the one-off performance available to watch over Christmas.

 

The band are set to perform a 'live lounge' for Jo Whiley [pictured left, with Will] on BBC Radio One, which will feature a selection of classic tracks from the group plus a festive song. Apparently the five-track show will also be filmed and then screened on digital TV from December 23, reports the NME.

 

The set will be accessible via 'on demand' digital TV and available to watch until January 6, following similar initiatives for the Gorillaz and The Strokes in 2005.
