Coldplay Hit the Ground Running on their 'A Head Full of Dreams' Tour with 4 South American Dates

Coldplay are officially back! And they're doing what they do best: rocking out in packed arenas and stadiums. What better place to start then in the Coldplay-mad continent of South America; a double date in Argentina, followed by shows in Chile and Peru.

It was a long time coming for some of our loyal fans down south. When the Mylo Xylotour was suddenly canceled, it brought frustrations to some of Coldplay's most diehard fans. But our southern friends were promised something special when a tour starts up again, and they got it with the exclusive live debut of many soon-to-be classics such as "Birds" and "Army of One" and the return of fan favourites like "Politik", "Green Eyes" and "Speed of Sound".

A Coldplay gig is known to be the hottest ticket in town. And these first few have been no exception. The band bring back the lasers in "Clocks", the intimate B-Stage visit and we also see the return of the Xylobands!

But they also learned a few new tricks for this tour including holi paint inspired explosion during the opening song, a spontaneous rave initiated by a new remix of Paradise and a socially interactive segment where fans can submit their requests.

The requests have been sent to the band's Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts and played during the set. So far we have seen the return of the band's hits like "Shiver" or "Don't Panic" (assisted vocally by Jonny!).

As the shows add up, we are getting more and more footage from our friendly neighbours. Hours of footage have been appearing on Youtube, beautiful Instagram pics, and live Periscopes from generous fans. It also appears that some shows are being recorded in ways never done before.

Next up on the flight list is a trip to Brazil followed by one show in Colombia and a trio of gigs in Mexico. Afterwards, the band will jump the pond and start the European leg of the tour. But who knows, perhaps Coldplay will show up again very soon. Check out Coldplaying.com for the latest in tour dates and all Coldplay concert info!
