Coldplay Miss Out On MTV Video Music Award

violethillcover1.jpgThe Ting Tings held off competition from Coldplay and Leona Lewis to take home Best UK Video at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 7th).

 

We reported recently that Coldplay picked up a nomination for their video Violet Hill, while Estelle's collaboration with Kanye West, American Boy, won her a nod. Leona's Bleeding Love video, Duffy's Warwick Avenue and the Ting Tings' Shut Up And Let Me Go all snagged nominations too. Hosted by Russell Brand, the 25th Video Music Awards took place at the Paramount Pictures Studio in Hollywood on September 7 and was shown on air on September 8 at 9pm.
