Coldplay Pegs Canada For Exclusive

Canadian fans are about to get all the exciting details on the most anticipated album of 2005, Coldplay's X & Y!

Canada's very own Inside Entertainment magazine is the first to run an in-depth interview with the band about the new album, for the April 2005 Issue. The band generously gave an unprecedented amount of time to the magazine resulting in a Cover Story featuring fantastic photos from Anthony Mandler and an incredible article from the magazine's guest editor, acclaimed journalist Nicholas Jennings.

Canadians love Coldplay as seen with the #1 debut of A Rush Of Blood To The Head, and it is clear that the band loves Canada too, by allowing us behind the scenes of the new album so early on. For this special Music Issue, Inside Entertainment magazine has even done an extra run of issues, as this will be the official magazine for the 2005 Juno Awards. Coldplay will also be signing 10 copies of the magazine to be auctioned off on eBay with all proceeds going to Make Trade Fair.

Although X & Y won't be out until Tuesday, June 7, fans will have this Cover Story and the release of the first single "Speed Of Sound" at radio to look forward to in April.
