Coldplay Preparing Comeback to Latin America in Late March 2009

chrisballoon1.jpgWith a little under two years since their last visit to South America, Coldplay will return and will include a multi-stop tour, according to Chilean media sources today - the same sources that successfully predicted the last tour. Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina are likely to be included in the itinery, with the possibility of additions such as Perú or Colombia.

Producers involved in negotiations are the same which took care of Coldplay's first 3 shows of 2007 - February 14th, 15th and 16th in Chile, when around 15000 people over the three nights saw them live in concert. Coldplay have confirmed tour dates up until March 19th, which is when a Latin America tour will start (possibly in Mexico). Coldplay's return would need a bigger stage - the 2007 concerts were in a 5000 people venue.
