Coldplay Remove Tour Merchandise Because It's "Crap"

Coldplay have pulled selected items of tour merchandise on their current US jaunt, because in the words of Chris Martin, it is "crap".

The band felt the quality of some items on sale was substandard, which led to the removal of the goods from merch stalls at the concerts. "We were in the dressing room in L.A. looking at some of the stuff and much of it, especially some of the t-shirts, looked terrible." Frontman Martin is quoted as saying.

"We put so much work into our music. The same quality control has to extend to stuff being sold at our shows and we made that clear. It has to be a no crap zone."

What do you think of the new store and merchandise? Have you already bought something or are planning to for the new tour? Let us know here [thanks ravrat]
