Coldplay have decamped to New York to continue recording their third album.
The band flew out earlier this month with producer Ken Nelson to a top-secret studio to record more songs for the follow-up to A Rush Of Blood To The Head. It's their third studio session after demoing the album in Chicago and recording in London earlier this year.
A source told NME.com: "The group have been in London working at various studios and now they've flown out to the US. It's still very much early days but they're hoping to get it finished before the year's out."
