Vancouver rockers Black Mountain, fresh off a once-in-a-lifetime tour opening stadium shows for Coldplay, have had some of their momentum cruelly sapped by cowardly thieves who recently broke into the band’s van and nabbed a good deal of their equipment.
The thievery went down in New York City on the band’s current tour with side project Blood Meridian, the latest in a rash of equipment heists in the Big Apple that also saw The Raveonettes ripped off brutally.Black Mountain has asked that anyone with information about the looting should e-mail the band directly at [email protected] Here is a list of the stolen merchandise, so keep your eyes peeled:
