Could Japan's Fuji Rock Festival 2011 be the another confirmed festival to see Coldplay headlining later this year? Well according to the official Fuji Rock Festival website and its English counterpart, Coldplay WILL be among the performers. No official coldplay.com announcement has been made yet, but the number of festivals to see Coldplay may soon rise to 14...
But hang on... it may be 15 (even 16 if Oxegen is confirmed). Last year Fuji Rock and Australia's Splendour in the Grass festivals shared a fleet of acts, so the announcement of the Fuji lineup provides excellent fodder for the favourite late Summer game: Guess The Splendour Lineup.
Fuji Rock will be held from Friday 29th July to Sunday 31st July, and Splendour will be on during the same weekend, held at south-east Queensland’s Woodfordia site. Coldplay will play T in the Park festival in Scotland on July 9th which would give them a 3 week break ahead of Fuji and Splendour.
