While Chris Martin has a reputation for his humour, Coldplay are more renowned as a musical band, rather than a comedy act but that might be set to happen, on US TV.
Just in - Coldplay's official Twitter has confirmed, the whole band will be involved!
- Comedy sketch airs on Thursday, May 21 from 8-11 p.m. ET on NBC
- Event is for Red Nose Day, funding British Comic Relief
- The annual occasion has raised $1 billion+ over 20 years
- The comedy sketch, in which Coldplay are set to appear in, is co-Written with 'Funny or Die'
- 'Funny or Die' is a production company co-founded by comedian/actor, Will Ferrell
- Other artists appearing on the show include John Legend and Pharrell Williams
