Coldplay To Play At British Universities?

marchcoldplay.jpgIt has been reported in today’s Sun that the band are shunning large venues in favour of smaller university venues with capacities of only 1,000 people.

 

The band are planning to release their new album in March next year and are planning a glut of gigs of home turf to promote it including gigs in Liverpool, Scotland and London.

 

However, it seems that this rumour is without foundation. A spokesperson for the band has told NME that the story is "Rubbish" and that the band are likely to be in America at that time. As previously reported on Coldplaying.com it has however been confirmed that the band are to headline 'A Sounds Eclectic Evening', organised by LA radio station KCRW on March 12.
