Coldplay are set to release new song this Friday (June 3), it's been official site on the official site today. The track, entitled 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall', will be available digitally at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it will be released 36 hours later at midnight on June 4th into June 5th.

From Coldplay: Dear friends, we're about to play a bunch of summer festivals so it's as good a time as any to put out a new song. 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' will be available digitally on Friday 3rd June at 12pm (BST), except in the UK where it'll come out on the stroke of midnight between Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June. We'll also stream it here on Friday and give it a run out at Rock Im Park. Love Will.
The announcement follows a number of teaser clues posted on the band's Twitter and Facebook pages. At present, it is not known whether 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall' is a one-off single or a track taken from Coldplay's forthcoming new album. Coldplay have yet to confirm when their follow-up to 2008's 'Viva La Vida and Death And All His Friends' will be released, but is it expected to arrive before the end of 2011. The band are scheduled to headline the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset next month.
