Coldplay's European tour will continue as scheduled, according to the official site tonight, and will resume at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark on Sunday. Here's Anchorman with the very latest news on the tour schedule, including a slight update on the Tampa show:
Following the cancellation of last Sunday's Tampa show, many of you have been in touch to ask whether the upcoming European shows will be affected. We're pleased to report that the Viva tour will resume, as scheduled, in Herning on Sunday, August 16. For details of the band's 17 upcoming shows (culminating in two homecoming gigs at Wembley Stadium), please click here. We'll post an update on the rescheduled Tampa show as soon as we have some details. Thanks folks. Anchorman
While this means that the Tampa show is unlikely to go ahead any time soon, it leaves the door open for it to be tagged onto a Latin American tour, should one be announced for the end of 2009 or beginning of 2010. More discussion on this latest news at the Coldplay forum and also at the Tampa thread. All scheduled summer live threads continue as normal in the Coldplay Live forum here [thanks SueDeNimes & lfdianne]
