fixyouperfect.jpgColdplay have launched the brand spanking new video for ‘Fix You’ through their official website.

 

Gigwise has had a sneak look at the vid and despite the understated beginnings it soon progresses into a bit of a corker.

 

It features Chris Martin wandering through floodlit streets at night time, and as the song takes off he starts to run until he arrives in Bolton’s Reebok stadium where the full band play the rousing firework-lit finale of the song. The band filmed the video at their two July shows in Bolton. The street scenes were filmed in various locations around London.

 

The verdict then: not quite as good as the backwards vid for ‘The Scientist’, but bloody decent nonetheless. The video gets its TV premiere on Channel 4 at 10.50pm tonight. ‘Fix You’ is released through Parlophone on September 5.
