    Q. Helo! I am following the Coldplay line-up in Glastonbury, and I saw this picture and I got confused... There is a soccer ball right bellow Chris' name, and I dont know if the guys play soccer right before the band performance... what you think about this?

    The Oracle replies:

There's always a football in the wardrobe flight cases. The band don't always play football before a show but it's there just in case (no pun intended) they fancy a kick about.

    Q. Dear Oracle, I realize that I'm probably too late with my question, but I thought I'll ask it nevertheless, who knows you're a fast responder ;) (sorry for my English..) Anyways, I wondered if at festivals (in fact I'm asking this for the Rock Werchter festival, to which I'm going) there will be Coldplay merchandise. Because if there is, then I'll have to keep in mind that I have to save some money for that :D It's kind of important for me to know, so I hope you will answer :) Thank you! xx Marit

    The Oracle replies:

Yeah, you'll be able to buy Coldplay merchandise at the festivals over the summer.

    Q. Hello Oracle! I was just wondering, on the new track Moving To Mars, who does the backing vocals/harmonies? I know Chris does some, but in the bit where it goes, "and I heard it on a TV show..." I'm sure I can hear other voices in there. Sometimes I think it could be Will but other times I think I can hear a woman too? Thankyou!

    The Oracle replies:

Ha ha we won't tell Will you think he sounds like a woman as it is indeed him.

He's sounding pretty sublime isn't he?

    Q. Dear Oracle! Why Bono "hates" the Coldplay?

    The Oracle replies:

I don't know where you heard that but Bono doesn't hate Coldplay at all; quite the opposite in fact. On Friday night after their Glastonbury headlining gig, Jo Whiley interviewed U2 and they talked about Coldplay fondly. Bono said how they really liked the boys and complimented them in fact

    Q. Ok so... Was that Jay-Z at the Glastonbury concert in the NY Yankees cap? If so, why did he not perform his verse on Lost with the band?

    The Oracle replies:

Yes it was Jay. He was there to watch his friend (and wife the following night) play. I guess it's the same as he didn't get up and sing on Crazy In Love when B was performing on Sunday. What I'm saying is he's not going to join the band every time he's at a Coldplay show, Jay was just chilling at Glastonbury and was spotted wandering around enjoying the festival. He was also in the crowd at Wimbledon's centre court yesterday watching Rafael Nadal defeat Juan Martin Del Potro.

    Q. Dear Oracle, I was checking Coldplay in iTunes and I came across a record called Buddha Bar. Can you tell me about it? Is it a Coldplay record or a record that contains a Coldplay song? Thank you so much Oracle!

    The Oracle replies:

It's got absolutely nothing to do with us. Buddha Bar have called one of their songs Coldplay. It's basically Viva la Vida. Weird if you ask me...

    Q. Dear Oracle, I missed Coldplay at Glastonbury on TV, and was wondering if there is anyway to view all the songs they performed online?! THANKS! :D

    The Oracle replies:

Anchorman has provided us with a link to the BBC site where we can catch their Glasto performance.

    Q. Is the new song with the lyrics 'You use your heart as a weapon / and it hurts like heaven' titled MX or Hurts Like Heaven? Hurts Like Heaven was mentioned as a song title by Chris in an interview, but on broadcasts of the song live, the title has been given as MX. So, which is it? Or is MX the intro to the song?

    The Oracle replies:

It's kinda the final thing you said; Hurts Like Heaven with the intro MX.
