    Q. Hello Oracle! Do you know where can I find/download/buy/anything a version with better audio quality of

song? I tried everywhere I could think of...

    The Oracle replies:

As this was a one-off charity event there's no place you can buy an audio version. It would be great if it did appear on a future War Child album of course so let's hope they're reading this... However, there are many different clips of that performance online.

    Q. Dear Oracle, I am in need of your all-seeing knowledge. Recently I visited the page for Viva la Vida (the album) on Wikipedia. It said this: "Lyrically, the album is a concept album of a man's consequences to escape from London in order to marry a woman in the fictional city of Strawberry Swing, and is a musical departure from previous releases.[citation needed]" I just visited the page again and that sentence is gone; edited out. (Maybe 'citation' was never provided.) But is this sabotage, the speculation of an overeager fan, or is it at all grounded in fact? It has been driving me crazy for weeks! Thanks! Aaron

    The Oracle replies:

Well Aaron, I can put you out of your misery by telling you that there is no truth in that sentence at all! Wikipedia is known for being a great source of encyclopaedic information yet due to how and where it derives its content, there's room for error and unfortunately quite often mistakes do appear. "Citation needed" is usually a sign that the provider of the "fact" doesn't always have the necessary access to truth to back it up. In this - and other - cases the details are incorrect.

    Q. Oracle! I hope you are doing well. Have you ever been to New York City with the band or at all?

    The Oracle replies:

My NYC history goes thus: 1. A very brief stop over due to a delayed flight connection to a holiday destination many moons ago. 2. One cancelled flight 11th September 2001 (to see Coldplay who's trip was also obviously cancelled). 3. One non-Coldplay but music based trip (July 2002). 4. One trip to see Coldplay perform at both the China Club and the following night Madison Square Garden (June 2003). So yes, I have been lucky enough to go there and to also see the band perform in both a tiny venue and one of the world's most famous arenas.

    Q. Hi!! I have been wondering for a while...where were the pictures of the band taken on the back of Parachutes? It looks like a spot in Hull. I really want to go there! Thanks

    The Oracle replies:

    It's not Hull; it's Blackpool.

    Q. Oracle, I'm feeling glum. Tell us a joke, please?

    The Oracle replies:

What's brown and sticky? A stick!

    Q. Dear Oracle, Please provide me with some of your wisdom. My boyfriend whom I love with all of my heart is leaving for college in 5 days. We are planning on staying together even though he will be over 800 miles away. Many of my friends think this is a bad idea but I can't just let him go. I need to try and fight for us no matter how much if hurts me emotionally. Do you think we should break up or stay together? Laura

    The Oracle replies:

Laura forget what your friends think; it's what you and your boyfriend think that counts. For what it's worth I think it will be very difficult to maintain your relationship and there's inevitably going to be occasions where the distance will come into question. I would say that if it is hurting you emotionally it's not good for you. Sometimes to look after yourself you need to make sacrifices. Maybe you and your boyfriend can plan to meet up again after college and see how you cope with the temporary, yet long, separation...

    Q. Hello Oracle, I wonder if Chris has gone to the gym because in the presentation of Apple he was very muscular.

    The Oracle replies:

The band all work out regularly and have a personal trainer who put them through their paces. This used to take place in a gym but moreover they use their own equipment.
