Q. Where was Coldplay when 9-11 took place?

The Oracle replies:

They were in London but had been due to fly to New York to perform a couple of days later. That day is also Jonny’s birthday but there were no celebrations in 2001.

Q. I have a serious problem and it is my shyness, I’m in a music class at school, but I am about to have a very bad qualification because I do not dare to play guitar, piano or sing in front of people. With just think that there are people watching and listening me, I am very nervous. But I really want to demonstrate to others that I can be good at what I like, which is mainly music and playing the piano. What can I do?

It’s very hard to break the cycle of fear and nerves but it can be done. It will take bravery on your part but very many people get nervous before performing, even famous people. Nerves can be a good thing and help you give your best. There are many things you can do to help your self-esteem. There are books you can read, CDs you can listen to and mantras you can repeat to yourself in the mirror. The main thing you have to do is to start believing in your own talent. If you push yourself out of your comfort zone you will find with time that you will get used to performing in front of others. When you hear the effects of your playing you may gain in confidence too.
