When Coldplay's 2011 festival appearances in Germany were announced back in November, it was not confirmed which dates Coldplay would be playing at which venue - but now the festival poster has been released by the festival organisers via their website, and shows the exact dates for the stage. Coldplay will headline the Rock im Park festival on Friday 3rd June (2130-2300h local time) and then the Rock am Ring festival on Saturday 4th June (2250-0020h local time), according to their festival news site. Rock am Ring is based at the Nürburgring racetrack in the west of Germany, while Rock in Park takes place at in Nuremberg, in the south of Germany. Other bands confirmed for the event include Kings Of Leon, System of a Down, Deadmau5, Interpol, The Gaslight Anthem, White Lies and Mando Diao.
