Coldplay's Tokyo show to be screened on MTV: 27th February 2009

One of Coldplay's Upcoming shows in Tokyo will be broadcast on 62 MTV channels later this month. This just in from Anchorman:

Good morning. As part of a new weekly concert series from MTV Networks International, Coldplay's upcoming show at the Tokyo Saitama Super Arena will be screened on 62 MTV channels around the world. The MTV World Stage show will air on Friday 27th February.

Press release: MTV Networks International announced the launch of MTV World Stage and MTV Push, two new music initiatives aimed at demonstrating MTV's unique international scale and connecting fans to the greatest and latest acts on the world music scene. MTV World Stage is a free pass to the most exclusive gigs and unique concert locations from around the world. Coldplay live in Tokyo from the Saitama Super Arena will be the first performance captured for MTV World Stage and will air 27 February on 62 MTV channels around the world. The series will showcase different musical performances every Friday night across the international network.
