It has been confirmed this morning by the official Coldplay site and radio sources that Coldplay will perform two shows in South Africa this October. The first show is scheduled for Wednesday, 5 October at Cape Town Stadium and the second show for Saturday, 8 October at FNB Stadium Johannesburg. Here is the online confirmation from Anchorman: Good morning. We're very pleased to report that Coldplay will be heading to South Africa in October to play their first ever shows in the country. Tickets go on sale from Computicket.com and 083 915 8000 at 9am (local time) on Thursday 12th May. The dates are as follows:
5th October - Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town
8th October - FNB Stadium, Johannesburg
