Gwyneth Paltrow credits husband Chris Martin with saving her from a joyless life following the death of her beloved father. The actress admits she was devastated when dad Bruce died in 2002 - and says she didn't get her "spark" back until she met the Coldplay star.
She is quoted in Britain's Grazia magazine: "My father was the most important relationship in my life until he passed away. "Before I met Chris, I had lost my spark, I had lost my sense of humour. I couldn't find the joy in things. Now I like my life. I'm in a good place."
The screen beauty, who earlier this week hinted she was expecting a second child with her husband, claims she's never been happier since having her baby, Apple. She said: "The most euphoria I've ever experienced was having a baby."
