Jay-Z is set to play a show at the London Roundhouse venue between his forthcoming support slots for Coldplay. The rapper, set to release new album 'The Blueprint 3' on September 11, will headline the Camden venue – a relatively intimate gig by his terms – on September 17.
The show will come following gigs with Coldplay in Manchester and Glasgow (12 and 16 respectively) and will come before two shows supporting them at London's Wembley Stadium (18th and 19th).
Jay-Z's new single, 'Run This Town', featuring Rihanna and Kanye West, who produced 'The Blueprint 3', is out now. Tickets for the Roundhouse gig go on sale at 9am (BST) on Friday (September 4). Meanwhile, a benefit concert that Jay-Z is planning for September. 11, a day before the Manchester concert has been billed as 'Answer the Call.'
The performance will be at New York's Madison Square Garden and air live on Fuse TV. Jay-Z was joined by his wife, singer Beyonce Knowles; Gov. David Paterson; Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta and Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer.
