Hundreds of extra tickets for the Glastonbury music festival are to go on sale for Orange mobile users, it emerged today.
Orange customers will be able to buy one of these last remaining tickets through the Orange World homepage from 9.30am this Tuesday.
Previously, the 112,000 £125 festival tickets were snapped up in less than three hours in April by eager fans.Ticket sales were restricted to two per person and those turning up at the event, from June 24 to 26, will have to show photographic identification matching the names printed on their tickets.
Acts as diverse as Kylie Minogue, Van Morrison and Goldie Lookin’ Chain are will perform at this year’s Glastonbury.
The main Pyramid Stage includes the former Australian soap star, Belfast legend Morrison and Newport rappers Goldie Lookin’ Chain as well as New Order, White Stripes, Coldplay, The Killers, Doves, Elvis Costello, The Undertones and Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson.
The Zutons, The Coral, Ash, Kaiser Chiefs, Jools Holland and The Thrills are also on the Pyramid Stage at the festival in Pilton, Somerset, in June.
