A new Coldplay tour could take place from "Early Next Year", according to lead guitarist, Jonny Buckland. The band were in the BBC Radio 1 studios with Nick Grimshaw, as they celebrated the release of their new single, 'Adventure Of A Lifetime'.
The band visited the BBC Radio 2 studios for the first play of the new single, where Chris talked about early band experiences such as a Leeds festival appearance, in which they were asked to perform before the audience arrived! Following on from The Sun reporting that Coldplay will headline Glastonbury 2016, Chris appeared to give signals, suggesting just that and calling Glastonbury their "spiritual home" but there was no confirmation from the beaming frontman.
On the subject of touring, the pair of Chris and Jonny stated their intention to tour quite soon and joked, 'we'd have to book village halls as the arena's would be booked'.
'A Head Full Of Dreams' was always planned for the end of the year, according to the Devon-born lead singer:
And bassist Guy Berryman added,
There were no additional facts about 'A Head Full Of Dreams' during the interview.
Radio 1 planned a comic feature, which asked their listeners to send in boring lyrics, which Coldplay would turn into a song! The end result is pure hilarity:
