New iPad Controlled Xylobands Could Feature On Coldplay's Next Tour

15th October 2015 update: Sound engineer, Dan Green and Roadie (#42), Miller are thought to have been pictured at Abbey Road studios in London, testing out the new Xylobands. It seems almost certain the much loved concert accessory will be part of Coldplay concerts once more. (See above picture)

Noticed the Indian theme in the background? The band have taken much inspiration from their recent music video filming in India.

Xylobands have released a taster clip of the illuminating wristbands and how they could play a part (again) in Coldplay's next world tour! In their tantalizing preview video, 'Charlie Brown', from the 'Live 2012' film is played from the TV screen, as their new iPad controlled Xylobands glow, in rhythm to crowd pleasing tune from 'Mylo Xyloto'.

News of Xylobands 2.0 came to the fore, last August, when it was revealed that the new wristbands would change colour, rather than flashing in the same colour. We then saw the plain white Xylobands in action at the BBC Music Awards, last December, as Coldplay lit up Earls Court in London during 'A Sky Full Of Stars'. The new iPad compatibility is very impressive and we suspect the lighting effects have been fine-tuned since their BBC Awards appearance.
