Travis's Fran Healy recently spoke to Scotland’s The Herald about the British rock legacy Travis shares with bands such as Radiohead and Coldplay. He said: "There’s a kind of family tree with these bands,” he said. “It starts with Oasis and Radiohead. They begat Travis. Then, if you stuck Travis and Radiohead together you’d get Coldplay; if you stuck Coldplay and Travis together you’d get Keane; and then with Keane and Travis you get Snow Patrol."
Meanwhile, DJ and producer Axwell announced his aspiration of working with Chris Martin. He said to RWD Magazine: "I'd love to work with Chris Martin from Coldplay. He’s like a genius of his time and I would love to try and make a house track with him."
