Hi. We're in Sao Paulo in Brazil now. It's been a crazy couple of days. I arrived on Saturday night, feeling a little worse for wear after a heavy night in Buenos Aires on Friday. I was lucky enough to go for dinner with the band to a lovely restaurant. Then we went for a few drinks, which turned into a few more. Well, if you can't enjoy yourself on tour with Coldplay when can you?!
Suffice to say, I paid for it on the flight from BsAs to SP! On Sunday I met up with Jandira and Renato. Jandira works for Oxfam in the office in Brasilia, as a campaigner. You may recognise her name - she's left a few comments on this blog already! And Renato works in the Oxfam office in Lima in Peru,, as the Communications Officer for the region. They are both very cool, and lovely.
We discussed everything - Coldplay, Make Trade Fair, Brazil, England, celebrities, campaigns, the weather. Nearly everything! I went back to my hotel exhausted, but excited about the concerts and the campaigning in Brazil - there was genuine anticipation here, and I could feel like it was going to be special.
