Guy Berryman forms a side project which is released on October 6 Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman is set to release an album with A-Ha's Magne Furuholmen and Mew's Jonas Bjerre. The collective, The Apparatjik, have soundtracked the new Bruce Parry BBC2 TV show 'Amazon' with their song 'Ferreting', reports The Sun. The song appears on the forthcoming compilation album, 'Amazon Tribe: Songs For Survival', set for release on October 6. William, Hot Chip and KT Tunstall have also contributed songs

Jay's got Coldplay tonight, December 12th. Frontman Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, drummer Will Champion and bassist Guy Berryman visit "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" this Monday to perform their new single "Talk" off Coldplay's third album "X&Y." On Monday 13th February, Coldplay performed to an intimate audience at legendary Abbey Road Studios in London as part of BBC Radio 2's Live & Exclusive season. Los Premios MTV Latinoamérica 2006 take place tomorrow night at the Cuidad de Mexico. Coldplay were nominated in the Best International Rock Group category. The ceremony will be aired live on its broadband platform MTV Revolution beginning 10 p.m. Mexico time from the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. Oxfam America have posted an update in the forums on the Oxfam volunteering for the forthcoming Viva La Vida US tour. Here are some of the FAQ that have been answered so far: -- Yes, you'll get to see the show for free! Coldplay earlier this week announced that they have confirmed four more US shows. Tickets for the Philadelphia show go on sale later today. Coldplay played in Philadelphia on July 25 and - due to the popularity of that show - are scheduled to perform again at the Wachovia Center on Saturday November 1st.
