The British film 'The Escapist' is being released in cinemas from this Friday (20th June). Coldplay contributed a titular song to this upcoming prison escape thriller (in cinemas 20th June).   Joseph Fiennes and Dominic Cooper star alongside Brian Cox in the film, which tells the story of a daring prison break, masterminded to enable an inmate to visit his sick daughter. A huge reminder that Coldplay will premiere the first single (Violet Hill) from their fourth album, ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’, later today on BBC6 Music, which will then open the floodgates for thousands of other radio stations to be allowed to air the track.   ‘Violet Hill’, which is released in May, will be given its first play on George Lamb's show on BBC 6 Music, which airs between 10am and 1pm (BST). The track will then be available to download via Coldplay.com at 12.15pm
