Last month, Ray J covered the Coldplay song during a performance for Pepsi Smash's "Cover Art" on Yahoo Music. Clocks is from Coldplay's second album A Rush of Blood to the Head. Ray J said he chose this song because he "wanted to show another side of Ray J" and "keep it versatile." He added, "I just wanted to do something a little different, you know what I'm saying?"
