Reports: Coldplay lined up to play at American Music Awards on 21st November in LA

AMAs.jpgOnline media outlets are reporting that Coldplay will be performing at the 2010 American Music Awards, to be held on November 21 and it will be telecasted live from Nokia Theatre L.A. on ABC.

 

Are we finally going to hear some new music from the band? It's possible - since they have been off working on the new album over the course of the past several months. There is as yet no official announcement either on Coldplay's website or ABC, but we expect something to transpire soon. You can discuss this news at the Coldplay forum now.

 

Coldplay are not up for any nominations at this year's awards, but at the 2008 AMAs Coldplay started out the night with four nominations, but they failed to win a single award. Look back at the pictures from Coldplay's performance of Viva la Vida two years ago...
