Flamboyant, catsuit-wearing frontman/guitarist Justin Hawkins of The Darkness has a simple explanation of music these days:

 

"There aren't a lot of good English bands, I don't think," he said, following the pronouncement with an appropriately placed yawn. "Coldplay's successful and they're good, too. Radiohead is successful and they're good. But Robbie Williams is shit. He hasn't been so successful. It's just the nature of the beast. Quality will shine through no matter what the country."
