Q. Hi Oracle, I was lucky enough to be at the U2 show in Las Vegas recently, and to my great delight,at the end of Beautiful Day, Bono broke into a bit of "Lights will gu-u-u-u-uide you home...." , which was the highlight of the show for me :-) It didn't occur to me on the night, but I was wondering if Chris was at that show?

Q. Dear Oracle, have you ever seen Chris playing on the drums? We only see him on piano or guitar. I really wonder if he?s able to play one or two of his own tracks on drums... Thank you so much!
The Oracle replies:
I have seen Chris play Will's drum kit during a Twisted Logic tour soundcheck a few years ago; Will was playing guitar and they were just jamming. During the demo sessions for A Rush of Blood... Chris recorded him playing most parts of some new song ideas during a Christmas break but those recordings were never in the public domain. It's not likely that we would see/hear him play drums in Coldplay because as you know, that position is filled.

Yeah I'm a fan so got The Office reference but thought the "correct" answer would really baffle people who'd never seen it. Any opportunity to big up the panda must be seized!
