    Q. Hello mighty Oracle!!!! I have a question... in the album of Parachutes whats the yellow ball?? And what does that mean?? Also do you know when is going to be a concert in Mexico?? Thanks.

    The Oracle replies:

The cover of Parachutes is a spinning globe light. I'm not sure if you've ever seen one but it was quite small and used to sit on Chris' piano during gigs back in the day. It was a last minute suggestion to use it for the cover as they were struggling to come up with ideas. Tour dates aren't given out in advance so it's just a case of checking back to see any new additions.

    Q. I was recently browsing on YouTube and found a video entitled The Nappies- um, when did Coldplay do this and why? It cracks me up every time I watch it :)

    The Oracle replies:

This was made over 5 years ago for the impending arrival of Chris' first born. 'Tis indeed very funny. It was a one-off filmed during a recording session.

    Q. I want to play the song Yellow as my first dance at my wedding. It's our song, I'm just afraid the my guests wont appreciate it. Good idea to play at my wedding?

    The Oracle replies:

I mean no offence to your guests but whose wedding is this? It's yours so who cares what anyone thinks of your song choice? You should be dancing to your song if that's what you both want. I'm sure the guests will be so happy to see together that they won't care. That said my friends dance to Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve and it seemed to go on for days!
