    Weekly Recap: June 22 - July 6

These past two weeks have been busy ones for Coldplay, as they continued their European leg of the A Head Full of Dreams Tour, making stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and England, where they played a remarkable headlining set at Glastonbury Festival.

    THURSDAY, JUNE 23

On June 23, the band played a show at the Amsterdam ArenA in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The setlist included lesser played songs during the tour such as “In My Place,” and "Til Kingdom Come." They also played a cover of “I Walk The Line” by Johnny Cash. You can download the audio of the show broadcasted by 3FM here!

    FRIDAY, JUNE 24

Before Coldplay played a second show in Amsterdam, Chris took to Twitter to express his thoughts about the UK’s decision to leave the EU, which had been decided the night before, in the midst of the band’s European leg of the tour. “As a band we love playing in and being a part of Europe. This decision does not represent us or indeed most of our generation and the generation following us,” Chris wrote. Read the rest of his note here.

On the second night in Amsterdam, Coldplay played a setlist similar to the first night, with the inclusion of “Don’t Panic," and, quite fittingly, "Amsterdam," which you can watch

    !

Coldplay also did an interview on “RTL Late Night,” which you can download here. The interview included clips from the band’s 2016 Barcelona show, one of which you can watch below!
