Why Chris & Gwyneth named their baby Apple

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow named her baby girl Apple after the little girl of partner Chris Martin's North American booking agent, it has emerged.

Apple is the name of the daughter of Marty Diamond, who gave the idea his approval.

The baby takes her second (Blythe) and third names (Alison) from the mothers of Gwyneth and Chris respectively.
