guyberryman.jpgRichard Ashcroft arrived by helicopter for his terrific set after enjoying the British Grand Prix. His dramatic entry surprised the crowd but not Richard - who had a premonition of his jet-set day while sharing a steam room with Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman.

 

Ditch the aviator shades and backwards baseball cap, Chris Martin - they're not cool and they're not clever. The Coldplay frontman and wife Gwyneth Paltrow went on stage to watch Ashcroft and Lou Reed.

 

Foul-mouthed stars nearly had their booze taken away. The sensitive souls running the backstage Artists' Bar threatened to close it down for bad language. They whined to organisers it was supposed to be a "family" environment. Rock and fucking roll!
