    Q. Does the band have songs that they don't really like to play live?

    The Oracle replies:

There have been a couple of songs that have divided the band when it comes to playing live. The Hardest Part was a particular bone of contention.

    Q. Dear Oracle, With the Under 1 Roof charity event fast approaching, do we have any confirmation on if there will be a live blog for the event? Many thanks.

    The Oracle replies:

There will be tweet updates throughout the show but no live blog this evening. If you don't know, our twitter is @coldplay.

    Q. What's the best movie you've seen that was released this year?

    The Oracle replies:

Well, my film viewing experiences can be broken down into categories but the "best" film I have seen wasn't my favourite: Favourite film seen at cinema - Alpha Papa; Worst film seen at cinema - Hangover III; Best film seen at cinema - Gravity; Favourite box office film watched at home - Behind the Candelabra; Best cinema visit - Catching Fire premiere. I saw Anchorman II yesterday. It had its moments and in my opinion, with editing could have been much better.

    Q. Hey Oracle! Will the boys make another Christmas message? I just love them and I haven't found one for this year..

    The Oracle replies:

Patience, Heaven. It's only the 18th so there's still time. Watch this* space as they say. *Not this space but you know what I mean.

    Q. Dear Oracle, I'm a 19 year-old guy from the Netherlands. I'm a bass player. But it feels like I'm in some kind of trouble. Since two years ago, I started feeling different. I don't feel like I'm completely a guy, but I'm afraid to show it to everyone. This is not a good thing. These feelings are increasing, and it's hard for me to hide them, yet I have to. I want to feel free about myself, but I'm afraid nobody will like the true me. What can I do?

    The Oracle replies:

If you don't feel you have anyone to confide in, there are organisations that can help you deal with gender identity issues. There are some local to you too & will treat your call with confidentiality. Remember, you're not alone. Above all, never be afraid to be yourself.

    Q. Dear Oracle. I bought a Coldplay t-shirt with an X&Y logo in the front and "True Logic Tour" on the back. My question is: Is this shirt fake? Cause the original tour is called Twisted Logic Tour. Thank you for answer.

    The Oracle replies:

Exactly! You've really answered it yourself. Yes, it's a fake. As the tour was called Twisted Logic any merchandise from then would also say Twisted Logic.

    Q. Dear O, What's your favourite Christmas Message from the boys? I really like the Last Christmas cover of 2007 with Jonny smiling at the end. Feliz Navidad!

    The Oracle replies:

Ooh I'd totally forgotten about that Christmas message. I don't have a favourite but Will's performance in the End Of Decade Sale is brilliant - not a Christmas message I know but worthy of a mention. I was thinking as we've had a couple of Christmas song questions recently (well it is less than ten days away) the band have performed enough to give people a Coldplay Christmas fix: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Last Christmas, White Christmas, Happy Xmas (War Is Over), Jingle Bells and of course Christmas Lights.

    Q. Do you know what typography was used in this photo?

    The Oracle replies:

The font used for Atlas is BankGothic Md BT Medium.

    Q. I have just read that the boys have been nominated for a Golden Globe! Is this the first time this has happened, and how excited are they?

    The Oracle replies:

Given that Atlas is the band's first song recorded for a film there has never been a song eligible before.

The Hollywood Film Awards (where it won the Hollywood Song Award), Golden Globes and the Oscar nominations are their first within the film industry. They are thrilled to have been shortlisted by all - it's very exciting indeed!

    Q. When was the last time you talked to Mr Christopher Martin himself?

    The Oracle replies:

I'll be seeing them on Thursday at the Under 1 Roof show but not counting any text messages, I haven't seen Chris, or any of the guys in person since May. Blimey, that's ages ago!

    Q. Hi there! I am a Dutchie myself, and the Hypnofeed seems to love Dutch music a lot!? Tim Knol, Kensington etc.

    The Oracle replies:

The reason that more Dutch music is featured is pure & simply because more is submitted from there. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I guess that around 80% of the Hypnofeed submissions are from Netherlands closely followed by Belgium.
