It was Coldplay's second single from their latest album, 'Ghost Stories' and the uptempo EDM inspired track has become a moderate hit around the globe. The Oracle spoke out yesterday about the general band reaction to the song before release and Will Champion, Guy Berryman and Jonny Buckland 'weren't completely convinced' by the eventually released version of 'A Sky Full Of Stars' (nor was The Oracle). Chris was very sure he wanted the uptempo track on the atmospherical journey, as the 'light at the end of the tunnel'. This is now history but what is your opinion? Would leaving 'ASFOS' out of 'Ghost Stories' give the album a more consistent flow or does the sudden burst of energy add that extra special spice to the album?
Here is the original question posed to the Coldplay Oracle.
Then The Oracle gave us a more detailed explination of the band's opinion before the release.
