This week was exciting as Coldplay played not one, not two, not three, but four shows at London’s Wembley Stadium to more than 300,000 people!   WEDNESDAY, JUNE 15   The first of four shows took place on June 15, with Coldplay playing the song request of “In My Place” followed by “See You Soon,” which the band dedicated to Orlando and played as the Wembley arch lit up with the colors of the rainbow in solidarity with the victims of the Orlando shooting. Coldplay played two shows at the Stadion Letzigrund in Zurich, Switzerland this week.   SATURDAY, JUNE 11   On June 11, Coldplay performed the first night of shows in Zurich, Switzerland. This week, Coldplay continued their European leg of the A Head Full of Dreams Tour in Germany and the United Kingdom.   WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1   On Wednesday last week, Coldplay played at the Veltin Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. After the piano broke during “Everglow,” the band played “Lovers in Japan” for the first time during this tour. MAY 24 This week, Coldplay kicked off the European leg of the A Head Full of Dreams Tour in Nice, France at the Stade Charles-Ehrmann. They also revealed newly-designed Xylobands, with speakers and the flower of life symbol that also appears on the album cover.
