Hey fellow Coldplayers! My name is Stefan and I'm from South Florida. I get to go to my first ever Coldplay concert in 5 days in Miami, and saying I am just excited..is a huge understatement. :D Anyways..i figured i wanted to do something to really stand out from everyone else in the crowd so i got my creativity together and decided to make a glow in the dark shirt! I took my mom(I'm only 15) with me to Michael's, our local craft store, to pick out a plain blue shirt and gather as many glow in the dark fabric paint they had for sale and was on my home to start working on the shirt. It took a lot of time for the front to dry so i can do the back of the shirt but I'm in no rush. The concert is 5 days away. However i did finish the shirt today! :D So after many hours of designing and applying all the paint to the shirt...the shirt was complete! I posted a picture below of the front of the shirt since many people wanted to see how it came out on the Miami concert thread. I just decided i would share it with everyone else in a separate thread because I'm sure you guys will enjoy what i made and maybe do something like this in the future! Unfortunately however, PhotoBucket was being a pain and wouldn't allow me to upload the picture of the back of the shirt so i will need to just tell you guys what it says. The front of the shirt is pictured below. The back of the shirt says "We'll be glowing in the dark." since that's a lyric from Charlie Brown and with the Xylobands and my glow in the dark shirt, we will REALLY be glowing in the dark hahah! :laugh3: I also included a few of the band's graffiti symbols. Okay enough of me rambling..here is a picture of the shirt! I hope you guys really like it and I'd love to hear what my fellow Coldplayers think! Talk to you soon! :)

Wow! I just read this whole thread am in awe to hear how great the Dallas cocnert's went! Im so happy to hear all of you had a great time!! :D I get to see them in Miami on Friday and I am going crazy waiting for that day to come! I even made a glow in the dark shirt for the concert! What do you think of it? :smug:

Hey everyone! Here is the front of the shirt i made for the concert! It glows in the dark very well and if any of you see me with it on..dont hesitate to stop by and say hello! I will be making the back once the front finishes drying and ill post a picture of the back in a few days. :D

I got my materials for the shirt I'm making for the concert! So far it's coming out pretty cool with th glow in the dark fabric paint I got!! :) Pictures will be up within a few days!

So I'm watching the Heat game and all I can do is just point out to my parents where my seats for the concert are! Hahah :)

Actually there are a few more USA dates after the Miami show. I think the last USA show is on August 11 in MN haha :) Either way..the Miami show will be amazing!!!

Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you that I am going to be go to the concert in Miami! I found someone selling two tickets in section 115 for $250 so I contacted her and will meet with her early next week to pay her and receive my tickets! :) I will be going with my mom and I signed up to be an OxFam volunteer just in case. :) If you're a volunteer, will we be standing the whole time or walking around? How exactly do we help out? Thanks again and I can't wait to see some other die heart Coldplay fans in 20 days!

Wow you're very lucky! I did manage to actually see the episode with her and Brad Pitt in New Orleans and I was very touched by what they are doing to help the Katerina victims. I do understand that it seems like I'm asking for to much but it's worth a try. I understand that I may not achieve my goal but I can't really raise a lot of money in 3 months considering the fact that I'm only 15 at the moment. /: Thank you for your concerns and good lucks!

To everyone reading this: Some of you may understand why I want to contact Ellen DeGeneres and some of you may not quite understand why I’m doing so. Ellen helps so many people achieve their dreams whether it’s making sure they meet someone famous or building them a house...Ellen cares and helps whenever she can. On one of her episodes, she gave one of her viewers a car because of financial issues and that goes to show that Ellen cares. Coldplay is going to have a concert on June 29th of this year at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL and my friend and I really want to go, but the ticket prices are $200-$1,000 per ticket. If I had that kind of money, I would buy the tickets immediately. I really want to reach Coldplay and let them know that they have fans that would really appreciate a second concert in Miami or more tickets to be sold but I can’t do that because it’s very hard to actually reach a band. I thought about it and the best person that may be able to help me would be Ellen. She had Coldplay on her show and I know she can help me reach them.. I know I may sound selfish to you, but that is not the kind of impression I want to make of myself. I am just a huge Coldplay fan that wants to go over and beyond of letting them know how hard it is for their fans to get a hold of tickets. I realize that it may not be fair if they help me out because they have many other fans like me. What I’m doing: I made a facebook page, called Ellens managers, called Whitney Elementary (a school Ellen helped in Las Vegas), I tweet Ellen everyday, and a YouTube video. I REALLY want to just get Ellen’s attention so she she sees what I’m trying to do. Whether she wants to help me or not, is up to her but it would mean the world to me if she reaches out to me and lets me know that she at least understands why I’m reaching out to her. All the people that Ellen has helped on her show were very determined to get her attention and eventually Ellen saw them and offered her help. Every time I watch the Ellen show and she helps someone achieve their dreams, I sit there and say to myself: IF THEY CAN DO IT, I CAN DO IT. I’m one of those people that once I have an idea in my head: I work my butt off to make that idea/dream come true. I can’t back down without trying real hard because eventually my hard work may pay off. SO please support me and like this page, share it with all your friends, go like the YouTube video and share that as well. I don’t want to just be one of those “people” that try to reach Ellen.
