I was at work this morning, fully knowing it was Chris Moyles' last Radio 1 breakfast, and heard that a few celebrities and sent in little audio messages for him to celebrate his departure. I overheard Jamie Oliver, Sir Terry Wogan etc, but I have heard Chris Martin was also featured.

 

Does anyone know what he said, or perhaps the round about time his message was played (that way I can find it on the BBC Radio 1 website)? I'm really interested to know what went down, couldn't hear it at work due to me working in a warehouse :\

 

Any help would be lovely <3

No problem. :) The first time I was actually aware of Coldplay was when Chris Martin was on Moyles' show years ago and came up with the infamous 'Cheese Windows/Cornflake Door' song. :D

 

I think this message came about because Moyles mentioned how Chris Martin had text him last week saying he'd enjoyed the interview with Robbie Williams and Moyles (in his usual tongue-in-cheek style) was joking about the fact that Chris Martin didn't seem to realise that it was his last week on the Breakfast Show and hadn't wished him luck even though they were pals/used to live next door to each other etc.

 

And that's my geeky moment of the day! :D
