  1. I got so excited when I saw this on twitter this morning and then I realised the dates were exactly the same as last year. :\ I've always hoped for the MX tour to come back to Glasgow. Damn you Chris Evans for giving me hope! :P
  2. For some reason it's White Shadows today.
  3. No problem. :) The first time I was actually aware of Coldplay was when Chris Martin was on Moyles' show years ago and came up with the infamous 'Cheese Windows/Cornflake Door' song. :D I think this message came about because Moyles mentioned how Chris Martin had text him last week saying he'd enjoyed the interview with Robbie Williams and Moyles (in his usual tongue-in-cheek style) was joking about the fact that Chris Martin didn't seem to realise that it was his last week on the Breakfast Show and hadn't wished him luck even though they were pals/used to live next door to each other etc. And that's my geeky moment of the day! :D
  4. The whole final show is on Youtube and if you skip to 2:15:00 then Chris' message starts playing shortly after. It's lovely! :) Link is [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEEwr9a48gs]The Chris Moyles Show - The Final Show - 14th September 2012 - YouTube[/ame]
  5. I hope so. There was only one Scottish date and that was the first gig of the MX tour! On the Viva tour i'm sure they played Glasgow about 3 times!
  6. Maybe they're doing something for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee? There is a concert in London being organised by the BBC on June 4th. But saying that, if it was the announcement I would have thought they'd have gone on BBC radio to announce it! A small part of me hopes that they're announcing another leg of the tour with a few more UK dates added in! I can dream :)
  7. Can't believe they added Lovers In Japan!!!! This really makes me want to find tickets for a UK stadium gig now, hearing that song live would just be the most amazing experience ever :D That's the best looking setlist i've seen I think. Nearly my dream setlist!
  8. Jason-DeBord thank you for taking the time and effort to upload all those photos. They are stunning! Looking at the set list i'm happy to see things mixed up a little bit but Violet Hill isn't on it. Did they not play it? I thought it and GPASUYF straight after were a standard part of Coldplay concerts now! They merge so well. About to watch the video of Everything's Not Lost :)
  9. 1. Lovers in Japan 2. Green Eyes 3. A Message 4. Square One 5. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall
  10. ETIAW at the moment but Hurts Like Heaven is catching up fast!
  11. Visually it's stunning with the opening city shots, lasers, xylobands and the rainbow of colours but oddly I feel it's missing the energy of the song. I don't know if that's because i've seen Charlie Brown live or if I was expecting too much from the video but there's something missing. For me it doesn't have the replay factor like ETIAW or Paradise. Doesn't make me love the song any less though :)
  12. I've just got back to my flat after a week away and I walked into my room to find my Xyloband glowing! And no paperclip required ;) Now to see how long it glows for!
  13. Found some photos on my digital camera which are a much better quality than I remember!! At the end of Hurts Like Heaven This is during Lost! And a slightly blurry picture of the crowd and the magical Xylobands :)
  14. 1. Life In Technicolor II 2. Lost! 3. In My Place 4. Goldrush (love this song!) 5. The Scientist 6. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face 7. Violet Hill 8. Square One 9. Rainy Day 10. Green Eyes 11. Lovers In Japan/Reign of Love 12. Viva La Vida 13. Charlie Brown 14. Yellow 15. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall 16. Fix You 17. Don't Let It Break Your Heart
  15. A well deserved, long overdue second number one! Delighted that after it slipped down the chart last week Paradise has risen to the top and stayed there months after it was released. It took the British public long enough :P Charlie Brown, it's over to you.....
  16. Last night I had a really vivid dream about them. They played a small private gig, just for me, in my village. Not only was it snowing but to add to the randomness they were performing outside the post office  Not exactly rock and roll! :P
  17. I'm looking to see if anyone has any extra confetti too :) Either butterflies or new MX confetti, i'm not fussed. Happy to pay postage too. Give me a PM if you can help!
  18. Lovers in Japan is the one song I would be over the moon to hear live, and to this day I still regret not getting tickets for the Viva tour. If it gets added to the setlist, I would seriously consider finding tickets for a gig next year. (I'm still holding out for extra UK stadium dates to be announced!) That photo in the latest blog post is beautiful, I've got the one from the last blog as the wallpaper on my laptop :)
  19. It's slowly climbing up my most played list, I've become hooked on this song in the last month or so. This song + glowbands on the tour would be epic! The heartbeat part at the end would make quite a good lead-in to another song as well, not just Up With the Birds. I love how A Hopeful Tranmision/DLIBYH/Up With The Birds flow effortlessly. And the urgency of DLIBYH is contrasted nicely by the other two songs :)
  20. Lovers In Japan for Chris' dancing and the butterflies. ETIAW for the awesome glow in the dark stuff. Although i've recently discovered the alternative Violet Hill video with the dancing politicians. That did make me smile ;)
  21. It wasn't until I was watching some awards show in late 2008 or early 2009 and I heard this really catchy song being used in a video montage. I did some research and it was Lovers in Japan :) Even though I'd heard Viva hundreds of times on the radio, and liked it, it wasn't until that moment that the music connected with me. It probably explains why Lovers in Japan is my favourite Coldplay song! Then I vivdly remember February 09 when Chris Moyles climbed Kilimanjaro for Red Nose Day. He played Fix You whilst making a plea for donations on his radio show and it was a really powerful moment. So from that day on I gradually worked my way back through the Coldplay albums and here I am :)
  22. No, you're right I made a mistake! My ipod is lying because i'm sure it was the last time I checked! Think I was just imagining things after being blown away by that peformance :D
  23. Mylo Xyloto has jumped back to the top of the iTunes album chart :) Paradise is still number 1 in the singles plus Viva, Fix You and Every Teardrop are all in the top 100! Was it just me or did they not even mention what songs Coldplay had played, or that Charlie Brown was the new single?
