Region Exclusive EPs

Featured Replies

About a year ago I learned about the Netherlands exclusive talk EP, and I have been listening to it a lot and love it! I thought that was the only Netherlands EP that was made, until today when I learned about the Clocks one. Are there any others that have been made that I do not know about? (Also if there are ones for other places such as Japan or Mexico I would be interested in learning about them as well (This is not just about EPs but any region-exclusive stuff) (Also if you have pictures of the physical versions of these (especially the gatefolds of the Talk and Clocks ones) I would be very interested in seeing what they look like as there are not very many good pictures of them I can find)))

I didn´t know about that, can you explain what does it include and what makes it special?

Sorry that I took so long to respond, I had finals and a medical emergency in the past month. Anyway, there are some EPs and live albums that Coldplay, for whatever reason, decide to only release in certain regions. Some of these include the Trouble Norwegian Live EP (which is a five track live album from the parachutes era), the Clocks Mexican/Japan Enhanced EP (which is an extended version of the clocks single which includes a few extra live songs), the Clocks Netherlands EP (which includes the album and radio edits of clocks on top of a 10 track live album of the A Rush of Blood to the Head tour), the Talk Netherlands EP (which includes the album and radio edits of talk on top of a 7 track live album of the Twisted Logic tour),  Love in Tokyo (which is a live album of A Head Full of Dreams), and there are several bonus tracks on most of the Japanese versions of Coldplay albums (such as How You See the World on X&Y and Flags on Everyday Life).

Post-Script: My list is not fully comprehensive, but it is everything I could think of off the top of my head. Also if you are interested, I have files of these EPs and live albums, so if you want to hear them I can send them to you.

Thanks for the extensive answer. I miss those days when the singles came in companion with b-sides, not four remixes of We Pray or live versions. Not only with Coldplay, but with other artists I like as well… Good old days I guess.
