As reported earlier, international relief agency Oxfam began taking bids on Tuesday in an online celebrity auction aimed at raising money for its work in Darfur and neighbouring Chad. As reported earlier, the current tour of Australia is underway and they have so far played Brisbane and Sydney. This coming Monday (3rd July) the popular TV programme 'Enough Rope with Andrew Denton' will be showing an exclusive with Chris. The show will be transmitted on ABC at 21.35 (local time). As previously reported, it was rumoured that Chris Martin might perform with Lily Allen - but in the end, he was all alone on stage at the Union Chapel in London yesterday night, only having a violin player by his side. As part of Mencap's Little Noise Sessions (which already featured artists like Noel Gallagher last week) he surprised the whole crowd last night with playing four songs, including songs by The Killers and Bob Dylan, but also a brand new Coldplay song called 'Bucket for a Crown'

Chris Martin is rumoured to working on new material outside of Coldplay with cheesy dance trio Cascada. The news was revealed by Jo Whiley on Radio 1 this morning (April 25) but has caused confusion with fans after she first said that Martin had left the band.
