Check out the 2007 section of Coldplay.com for a new star. Friday, 21 September - London This is the album I always dreamed they would make. It's the sound of a band realizing their own strength. The sound of four men with total confidence in themselves and one another. It's the sound of a songwriter at the peak of his ability. Coldplay's highly touted giveaway of a free live CD to concert goers -- a generous idea which Chris Martin announced from the stage -- was badly executed, leaving many fans empty handed, according to reports in Miami today. Liam Gallagher has taken a pop at Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin after being advised to change his singing voice by The Who frontman Roger Daltrey. Liam Gallagher’s dig at Chris came after Daltrey told him he should change his famous gravelly voice. Gallagher told Absolute Radio: ‘I remember Roger telling me, “Look, you’ve got to warm up”. I was like that, “Warming up, man, are you mental?”. I don’t want to sound like Chris Martin.’ Meanwhile we're sure Chris Martin will have a Friday chuc
