Chris Martin is featured on the cover of the new issue of Q Magazine, a 2008 preview edition. The legendary R&B musician Ray Charles has died aged 73, in Los Angeles, his publicist has said.   Charles, who went blind aged six, kept a largely low profile during a recent bout of ill health - but still managed to collaborate with other musicians.   Charles is considered a pioneer of soul music with hits including Georgia on My Mind, which Coldplay briefly covered in Atlanta on the 2002 tour of America.He died of acute liver disease, which was diagnosed after he underwent hip replacement

According to Radar Online today, Coldplay have been considered for features on Glee next season. This comes just weeks after Glee creator Ryan Murphy revealed to E! DJ Steve Lamacq has been axed from Radio 1 after 16 years with the station. Steve, 43, who joined it in 1993, helped launch the careers of bands including Oasis, Blur and Coldplay on his show the Evening Session, the Mirror are reporting this morning.   Since it ended in 2002 he hosted a Monday night slot but bosses announced a schedule shake-up yesterday.
