A second date for Coldplay at Earl's Court has just been announced.   You can get tickets for all three UK April dates at www.gigsandtours.com and also www.wayahead.com.

Coldplay have added a second date to their UK Summer Tour - they will now play in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park not only on July 1st, but also Saturday July 2nd.   You can find tickets at face value for all venues by clicking on the black Google ads to the left. Please don't give eBay touts the pleasure of taking your money!

As previously reported here on Coldplaying a few days ago, the news that Ocesa, the production company that have been tasked with managing coldplay's Mexican tour, have announced that a second Mexican date has been confirmed by Coldplay's official site. If you are a member of 'In My Place' on the official site you can log in from 11:30am GMT today (Saturday) to see the new "The Scientist" video.   The concept of the video is the loss of a loved one, manifested in a fatal car accident. The video actually starts with the crash and works it's way in rewind fashion to portray Chris and girlfriend at the start of their journey.   Chris had to learn the song backwards, so that his lip synching matches the lyrics of the song.

Shane Warne took Coldplay frontman Chris Martin on a secret visit to Flowerdale last week. The singer and the spinner spent a day visiting bushfire relief centres in the area.   Martin asked to be taken into the fire zone as he wanted to get a greater insight into the disaster, and the relief and rebuilding plans. Singer Shery Crow has leaped to the defence of Coldplay following a critical backlash against the British band in the US.   The phenomenally successful Chris Martin-fronted four-piece have recently suffered at the hands of American music writers.   Crow says, "They've had some scathing reviews in the US. Earlier this week, we reported that Coldplay's music directors for Strawberry Swing, Shynola, were under suspicion for plagiarism.
