Good 90 minutes of coldplay, on the live leak they played 7 songs off the new album, and went off the air with a Clocks encore.

I think X&Y needs more piano.

If you read my post I think I made it clear that this was just my first impression of X&Y and that things could certainly change.

One man's opinion on Coldplay's 3 beautiful albums. A Rush of Blood to the Head Great Songs Amsterdam The Scientist Warning sign In my place Really good Clocks Green eyes Politik Good God put a smile Rush of Blood to the Head OK/Pretty good Daylight Whisper ROBTTH has AT LEAST 4 great songs, maybe 5 with Clocks or Politk. Thats the key here. Parachutes Great Spies Yellow Really good Don't Panic Shiver Trouble Sparks Good High Speed Everything's Not Lost OK/Pretty Good We Never Change Parachutes Two great songs with Spies and Yellow, maybe even 3 great songs with Shiver or Don't Panic. X&Y Great Fix You What If A Message Really Good Swallowed in the Sea Til Kingdom Come White Shadows Good X&Y Square One Speed Of Sound Talk Hardest Part Low OK/Pretty good Twisted Logic Really wanted 4 or 5 great songs, maybe that will change, but on my first few listens I can only come up with 3. Still a very solid album, but I still expected a little more. Probably because Rush of blood was so damn good. Final rankings- 1. Rush Of Blood To The Head 2. X&Y 3. Parachutes

A) No they don't B) Ownage and coldplay don't mix, Stick to UT2004 I really dont care what a 14 year old named Jak thinks. In my opinon, coldplay is a superior band.

Just wait until this tour is finished, They will be in the top 5. And BTW, COLDPLAY OWNS RADIOHEAD.

Chris is just a very grateful, humble guy, who wants to stay true to the music. Its not easy to keep making great music after you "blow up" and everything surrounding you changes. Martin is a genius.

are you serious??? I love Coldplay... but 'owning' Radiohead.... no waaaaaaaaay!! Even Chris Martin will tell you that one!!! :laugh3: I can't understand/hear most of RH's lyrics. I think this is rather easy. Chris' voice and lyrics are easily better in my opinion.

Lets get real here. Coldplay freaking owns Radiohead.

I saw Yellow last night on VH1 and it brought back some memories. I was wondering if anyone has or knows where to get Coldplay music videos. I would love to have Yellow and The Scientist.

Look at the world we live in. Most people have awful taste, the people who have good taste listen to Coldplay. Best band in the world.

I have yet to hear all of them but out of the ones that I have heard, crest of waves and I ran away are amazing.

Amsterdam, Warning Sign, The Scientist. 3 great, great songs, too close to call for me.

I have the full version of Talk. I will give it to whoever needs it. I myself am looking for some of their b-sides, especially gravity. Any help in that area would be great.
